LOTTO:
It was painted in the paintings of Lorenzo Lotto, the famous Italian painter of the period, and got its name in this way. The main theme embroidered on the carpet is the combination of bird, dragon and the tree of life motifs. When used together, these motifs mean the eternity of the soul and immortality. Birds used on the tree of life symbolize life and soul. The dragon is the animal guarding the tree of life. The border is decorated with flower bouquets.
CHINESE :
Because the dots in the motif resemble a leopard, carpets consisting of 3-point motifs in the form of a triangle are called posted carpets. Used by various cultures, this motif is used to denote various elements such as the sun, çintemani, moon and cloud. On the other hand, the motifs consisting of three octagons and dragons on the border are believed to express the dragon protecting the moon and the moon. The theme of fertility is also embroidered with the symbolic use of sun, moon and dragon motifs on the carpet.
BIRD:
Because the shapes that make up the main motif resemble a bird at first glance, the carpets called “bird” actually have a deceptive appearance that consists of the various colors of the ground between two leaves that meet each other. Birds on the tree of life represent life and soul. The dragon is the animal guarding the tree of life. Three motifs symbolize the continuity and immortality of the soul.
